The important role of social conditionalities in Spain's green shift: Just Transition Tenders Mechanism
Spain's new mechanism - "Just Transition tenders" - will reward with grid access the renewable energy projects that consider the importance of employment, re-skilling programs and energy sharing when working to achieve the green transition. -

In 2020 the Spanish trade unions together with energy companies and the Spanish government concluded an agreement phasing out thermal power while ensuring a Just Transition of the workforce. -
Spain - Chemical industry - Collective Agreement - July 2021
The Spanish collective agreement for the chemical industry (July 2021) foresees that companies with more than 100 workers may develop a System of Environmental Management. Trade unions may designate a delegate to collaborate on it.
